Our wonderful adventure
Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania's only "seashore," Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling and in-line skating. A National Natural Landmark, Presque Isle is a favorite spot for migrating birds. Because of the many unique habitats, Presque Isle contains a greater number of the state's endangered, threatened and rare species than any other area of comparable size in Pennsylvania.

Web 2.0
Web 2.0 refers to the second generation of web development and design. This includes communication, information sharing, and collaboration on the web. Web 2.0 has led to the development of other web based communities such as applications, social-networking, hosted services, wikis, folksonomies, video-sharing sites, and blogs.
Pros: Web 2.0 can be beneficial because it simplifies the communication process, which makes everyone be able to communicate and stay in contact with everyone. Web 2.0 also offers the development to post pictures and videos for other people to see. Business can also have people come onto their site more and receive better feedback because of customer referrals. Lastly, there have been applications that are easier for people to work with which are affordable.
Cons: On many websites, information could be leaked out. Social network becomes more important and you don't focus more on your work life or even your private life, because your whole life is streamed out onto the internet. Also, there are many security threats that are a risk on the internet today.
Urban Decay
Our assignment for our New Media class, was to take pictures of urban decay in the city and down by the docks. Alex and I drove around wonderful Erie and took lots of pictures.

Spring Break
My destination for spring break was Florida where I met my friend Marcy. We stayed with our friend's Vanessa and Talia. During my stay we went to many different places in Florida including Tampa, Fort Myers, and Naples. During my stay, we were only able to go to the beach once because it was to cold the first couple of days. We went and got snacks for the beach so that we didn't starve while we laid out. I bought a small bag of goldfish crackers from Target. Then, we were finally on our way to the beach. At the beach I really wanted to go for a walk. Marcy agreed to come with me and so we started on our adventure down the beach. As I turned around I noticed a small seagull near my bag of goldfish which was hidden in the Target bag, so that the bag would not open up and sand wouldn't get in there. The seagull opened the Target bag, pulled out the crackers and started to fly away with them. Vanessa grabbed a fishing pole and ran after the bird, only to turn around and run away screaming because she thought that the seagull was going to attack her. This was by far the funniest event that day and I will never forget Vanessa running after the bird with a fishing pole. Overall, I never got to eat my crackers because I ended up feeding the whole entire bird population. What a day at the beach.

Welcome
Everyone enjoys hearing gossip and scandals every now and then. What's the difference? Gossip is defined as having a conversation or a report about other people, typically involving details that are either true or not true about someone. A scandal is defined as an action or event regarded as morally or legally wrong. In order for gossip to start a true scandal it requires the right person to be in the wrong place. You can take one person, start a scandal, add an audience, and see that person fall in the hands of a scandal through gossip. Gossip everywhere such as celebrities, movies, music, and your very own college life.
