Paintball Weekend!!!

Dany!

This weekend I went to my boyfriend's paintball tournament with Alex. This took place in Perry, Ohio. I never knew what paintball really was about until I met Dany, because he plays almost every weekend during the fall, spring, and summer time every year. It was a nice sunny, comfortable day and around 12:30-1pm we headed to the field to watch Dan, and a bunch of other guys play paintball. The goal of paintball, is to hide behind bunkers (those tall blow up things) and to shoot behind on the other team with paint. You may think...well it's just paint how could it possibly do any damage? Well, I have seen some of these guys come off the field with bloody backs and arms. Also, you need to wear a mask at all times on the field so that you dont get hit in the face, especially in the eyes. Overall, it was an enjoyable day and I only got a little splatter of paint on my clothes but at least I didnt get hit with any flying paintballs!!!

There were many people there that I could interview, however I decided to interview my very own boyfriend Dany.

Question 1: So Dany, long have you been playing paintball?
I have been playing paintball for 5 years.

Question 2: What made you decide to play paintball?
A bunch of friends in high school played and then I decided to start playing and try it out. Now I play every weekend.

Question 3: What is your rank or division?
I am in division 4. Pro being the best. Then one and so forth.

Question 4: Does it hurt when you get shot by the paint?
It does not hurt that much because your adrenaline is pumping so much, there are times though when you get shot multiple times (10 or more) then it starts to hurt. Or if you get hit in certain spots, such as your throat or the side of your stomach, by your ribs.

Question 5: What is the name of your team and how many people are on it?
Unknown Outlaws and there are 6 people on my team.

Our wonderful adventure

Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania's only "seashore," Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling and in-line skating. A National Natural Landmark, Presque Isle is a favorite spot for migrating birds. Because of the many unique habitats, Presque Isle contains a greater number of the state's endangered, threatened and rare species than any other area of comparable size in Pennsylvania.
